World of work
This half term, Year 6 have been learning about the World of Work in our PSHE lessons. On Friday 2nd February, we welcomed nine parents into our school to tell us all about their jobs. We learnt about the range of jobs available, qualifications needed, possible challenges and interesting parts of each role. Thank you so much to all the parents who came to speak to us; we all learnt so much and enjoyed the afternoon greatly!
Living Rainforest Trip - 7th November
Year 6 had a thoroughly enjoyable and informative day out at the Living Rainforest. The children took part in tours and information activities, also enjoying time in the shop and adventure playground.
Thank you to all adult helpers, we couldn't have done it without your support.
Well done to everyone in Year 6 that took part in the homework project about an aspect of the Rainforest. We were very impressed by the creativity, diversity and hard work that has gone into the projects. We all learnt lots from each other and had fun sharing them. Well done Year 6!
